Visual Basic 6
Previous Up
It's no secret by now that the love of my life—well, my programming life—is Visual Basic. This product matured in Version 6, so of course, Microsoft had to immediately change it (to VB.NET). While VB.NET is intriguing, and in many ways superior to "real" Visual Basic, it is so different—often for no discernable reason—that most corporations, as of this writing, have not made the move to the newer version. And so, my Visual Basic 6 articles are still of use. (Note that each of them includes usable code!)
